Riders first. Trails second. Friends for life.
Swift Trails runs mountain bike ride outs for people who want to get out on the trails, build their skills and enjoy the company of other riders. Here is who we are and why we ride the way we do.
Built around the ride out
Swift Trails began with a simple idea: a good day on the bike is better when you share it. We organise ride outs for riders of all levels, from first-time off-road riders to those who are ready to tackle longer, more technical routes.
Every ride out is planned around the group. We look at the terrain, the weather and the riders on the day, then choose a route that stretches everyone without leaving anyone behind.
- Guided routes chosen for the group on the day
- Coaching on braking, cornering and climbing as you ride
- Regular regroups so nobody rides alone
What guides every ride
Three principles shape how we run each session and each ride out.
Safety at the front
We check bikes, brief every rider on the route and agree how the group will stay together before we set off.
Routes for real riders
Our routes mix fast singletrack, climbs and descents, with easy options for riders who want a relaxed day in the saddle.
Progress without pressure
Our coaches give practical, friendly feedback so you can build confidence at your own pace.

Life on the trail with Swift Trails
A look at the riders, routes and workshops that make up our community.
I joined a ride out feeling nervous about the hills. The group was patient, the coach was encouraging, and I finished the day grinning. I now ride with the same crew every weekend.
